    Loan Kits

The Pember Museum offers exciting and interactive loan kits for use by schools and organizations.  The loan kits contain hands-on nature education materials and activities through which your group can experience the wonders of the natural world.  Also, Pember Museum educators are available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to present an organized hour-long interactive program involving the loan kit of your choice.

Kits are available free of charge on a first come, first served basis for loan periods of two weeks.  All kits must be picked up and returned to the Pember Museum by the borrower.  Most kits can be sent through the SALS library system.  Borrowers are responsible for the safe return of kits and their entire contents.

Loan Kit programs presented by Museum educators are free of charge to Washington County (New York) youth.   Other groups are charged $3/person (minimum $75) and an additional $0.25/mile travel.

Pember Museum and Preserve educational programs are made possible in part by funds from the NYS Division of Youth and the Washington County Youth Bureau; the New York State Natural Heritage Trust; and the New York State Council on the Arts.  Additional support is generated through memberships, admission and program fees, Museum shop sales, Granville Central Schools and the Town and Village of Granville.
